How to download a PDF statement from Fidelity.
Sign in to Fidelity
Go to fidelity.com and sign in to your account.
Open Statements & Documents
The tab sits in the main menu; it lists statements by account and period.
Pick the account and month
Choose the Cash Management or brokerage account whose activity you want to convert.
Click the PDF link
Save the PDF version rather than printing from the browser view.
Drop into Sortlumo
Drag the PDF into the upload zone. Sortlumo pulls out the transaction activity and categorizes it.
NoteA Fidelity brokerage statement is mostly holdings and performance. Sortlumo focuses on the cash and card activity inside it — it is not a portfolio tracker and won't reconcile positions, cost basis, or dividends as investments.
Exactly what we extract from your Fidelity statement.
Every transaction line
Date, posted date, description, merchant, amount, and the running balance — all extracted, never re-typed.
Normalized merchants
SQ*TARTINE becomes Tartine Bakery. NETFLIX.COM 866-579 becomes Netflix. AMZN MKTP US becomes Amazon.
22 categories

From categorized view to .xlsx, instantly.
Pick a date range, filter by category or merchant, and download the result as Excel. The export carries whatever categories are on your transactions, including any you changed by hand.
Fidelity statement questions, answered.
Does Sortlumo track my Fidelity investments?
No. Sortlumo is a spending tool, not a portfolio tracker. It extracts the cash-activity sections of a statement — card spending, transfers, deposits, fees — and leaves holdings and performance alone.
Does this work for the Fidelity Cash Management Account?
Yes, and that's the best fit. The CMA behaves like a checking account, so its statement is largely merchant transactions that categorize cleanly.
What about the Fidelity Rewards Visa?
Card statements are separate text-based PDFs and parse the same way as any other credit card statement.
Will retirement account statements work?
They'll parse, but a 401(k) or IRA statement is mostly contributions and holdings, so there's little merchant spending for Sortlumo to categorize.
