Find & cancel forgotten subscriptions

Use the Recurrent tab to hunt down recurring charges you no longer use.

The average person is paying for a handful of subscriptions they've forgotten about. Here's how to find yours and stop the bleed.

  1. 1

Add a few months of statements

The more history in an account, the more reliably Sortlumo tells a real subscription from a one-off. Aim for at least two or three statements.

  2. 2

    Open the Recurrent tab

You'll see every detected recurring charge, each with its annualized cost — the yearly total, not just the monthly line.

  3. 3

    Sort by yearly cost

Start at the top. The biggest annual numbers are where cancelling frees up the most.

  4. 4

Cancel the ones you don't use

Sortlumo shows you what and how much; you cancel directly with the merchant. Then keep an eye on next month's Recurrent tab to confirm the charge is gone.

Note

On Pro, the subscription audit also flags price hikes and overlapping services (two music apps, three cloud-storage plans) so you can consolidate.
