Privacy isn't a feature bolted onto Sortlumo — it's the reason it works the way it does. Here's the plain-English version.
No bank linking
Sortlumo never asks for your online-banking username or password, and it doesn't connect to your bank through an aggregator. It only ever works with the statement PDFs you choose to upload or forward. There's no live link to your accounts to worry about.
Your data is yours
- Export everything to Excel anytime, on any plan.
- Delete a statement, an account, or your entire account whenever you want.
- PDF passwords are used once to unlock a file and never stored.
The whole point
The reason people choose Sortlumo over Mint, Copilot, or Monarch is exactly this: you get the categorized, subscription-aware view without handing anyone the keys to your bank.
